Role Purpose
Design, Plan, Configure, Support, Secure and Maintain the availability, integrity and performance of the Bank’s databases environment.
Manage all database changes in all environments.
Ensure that the database environments are adequately backed up and replicated to ensure limited impact in the event of a failures and to ensure that we can achieve the Disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
To succeed in this role you will need:
Technical Competencies
- Microsoft SQL server
- SQL server in Azure
- ITIL (Change Management, Service Delivery, Service Level Agreements)
Minimum Education
- National Diploma in Information Technology and / or BSC Degree in Information Technology
- Microsoft and / or other Database related Certifications
Minimum work experience
- Minimum 2 years in Database Administration
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a Senior Database administration position in a large environment.
- Financial Services experience
